Просматриваю словарь "I Write Like" (список слов из книжек 52 авторов)
и постоянно натыкаюсь на непонятные "V.." вместо "U.." в начале слов:
VPON, VNBOUNDED и т.п. Поискал автора этих слов — Шекспир. Сначала
подумал, что OCR у Project Gutenberg кривой, U распознавал как V. А
оказалось, что эта одна и та же буква была до середины 16 века! В
середине слов она писалась как "u" (have -> haue), а в начале слов —
как "v" (upon -> vpon).
